Redesign of an investor pitch deck for a biotech startup specialized in CO₂ capture using microalgae: clearer narrative, stronger message hierarchy, and a more readable and credible presentation.
Industry
Climate biotech / microalgae
Mission
Investor pitch deck redesign
Target audience
Investors, strategic partners
Format
One-off project

Challenge
A scientifically complete deck, but difficult for non-scientific investors to read. The narrative lacked flow, and the key messages were not highlighted clearly enough.
Our work
Complete restructuring of the deck: redesign of the narrative, stronger message hierarchy, improved readability, and more polished design for investor use.
Outcome
A clearer, more persuasive deck, better suited to business and investor audiences. Easier to present in meetings.
Algaemical Carbon develops a CO₂ capture technology based on microalgae cultivation. The startup had a scientifically solid pitch deck, but the narrative lacked flow for investor audiences. Key messages were not prioritized clearly enough, some slides were overloaded, and the overall progression did not make the value proposition easy to grasp quickly.
We reviewed the structure, narrative, and messaging of the existing deck. This helped us identify the main friction points and define the restructuring priorities.
We rebuilt the flow of the deck using an investor-oriented logic: problem, solution, technology, market, team, and funding.
We simplified overloaded slides, brought key messages forward, and improved visual consistency and design.
A smoother narrative, a more logical progression, and key messages highlighted from the very first slides.
The most important information for investors became easier to identify quickly.
Cleaner slides, aligned visuals, and a more professional presentation adapted to the investor context.
An effective investor pitch deck is not just scientifically complete. It also needs to be easy to read quickly, follow a logical progression, and highlight the most important information from the very first slides. Narrative clarity is often what makes the difference in a presentation.
Narrative restructuring, stronger message hierarchy, and consistent design for materials that convince faster.
